We have an Adult Class that meets at 9:00 am and children/youth classes from Kindergarten to High School along with several Adult Classes that meet at 9:30 am. We have The Coffee and Tea Cafe' after the 8am service at 9am and a half hour social and snack time at 10:30 for those who want to spend some time together for friendship, laughter and Christian fellowship between services . A nursery is provided for Sunday School and during both service. Join us for coffee, a pastry, music and a message in the Fellowship Hall. Sunday School for all ages also begins on the 12th. Bring your children and stay for this inviting new style of worship service. Nursery provided for infants and toddlers. Compassion Cupboard Strasburg UMC contributes to the local food pantry, Compassion Cupboard, on a monthly basis. Each month there are two specific items to be distributed. The distribution day is the third Tuesday of every month. The following is a list of items for the remainder of the year in case you would like to purchase items on sale: August canned soup and canned chili September pork & beans and canned greens October box stuffing and canned tomatoes November box stuffing and mac & cheese December tuna fish and green beans Soup To Go - In difficult times like these, we want to help. Come to the back porch at the St Paul Lutheran Annex (193 W Washington St) on Sunday and Thursdays from 5:30 – 6:30 pm and we will give you soup to take home for your family. "Soup to Go" is a ministry of the Strasburg church community. Community Dinners - The Strasburg United Methodist Church Monthly Community Dinners are held on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month from 5:30 - 7pm. Everyone from the community is welcome to come and encouraged to bring a friend. Freewill offering. CommunityDinner T- Shirts for Sale - The shirts have our church name and the flaming cross embroidered on the front of them. They are $10 each and come in sizes from S-XXL. Picture of the shirts and order forms are available at the church. Car Magnets - Show your church pride. The Evangelism Committee is selling Strasburg United Methodist car magnets for $5. You can purchase them at the back of the church. 	The mission of our Church is to make disciples for the transformation of the world.  Jesus tells his disciples in Matthew 28: 19-20, “Go and make disciples in all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and then teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you: and be sure this—that I am with you always, even to the end of the world”.
