THE MISSIONS COMMITTEE at SUMC
The Missions Committee sponsored a very successful project during October involving people of all ages in filling shoeboxes with gifts for children around the world. The Operation Christmas Child effort at Strasburg UMC this year resulted in a total of 318 gift-filled boxes. Boxes were filled by individuals, by various groups within the church, and at an assembling event one Sunday afternoon. Our hearts are warmed when we participate in making a difference in the lives of others.
