Activities - What's Going On in our Church
The Strasburg United Methodist Church has established a Monthly
Community Dinner as a way of reaching out to our congregation and community.
The dinners are the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month from 5:30 - 7pm and everyone from the community is welcome to
come and encouraged to bring a friend. Freewill offering.
Thank you to everyone who helped exceed our goal for the Virginia
Conference Offering. With your help, we raised $1,200 dollars.
Congratulations to Philip Ramsey, a senior at Strasburg High School, who
won the Male Sportsman and Faith Award sponsored by the Strasburg United
Methodist Men.
Congratulations to Sara McClelland, a senior at Strasburg High School,
who won the $500 Earl Williams Sportsmanship and Faith Award sponsored by
the Strasburg United Methodist Men.
Are you hungry to learn more about the Bible? Deepen your faith? The
Education Committee is sponsoring a Disciple Bible Study in September. This
is a 34 week study involving daily Bible reading, class meetings, video
presentations and discussion.
Disciple is not easy, but it is life-changing! |

The mission of our Church is to make disciples for the transformation of the world. Jesus tells his disciples in Matthew 28: 19-20, “Go and make disciples in all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and then teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you: and be sure this—that I am with you always, even to the end of the world”.
